Next Stage is a three-pronged educational support system developed by the Indiana Musical Theatre Foundation (IMTF).
Workshops, Classes and Private Coaching opportunities are offered for high school students looking to pursue Performing Arts in college, or as a career after graduation.

APPLICATIONS CLOSED for 2025 - 2026
Next Stage at IMTF presents the College Audition Academy for rising high school juniors and seniors looking to apply to college for performing arts.
The College Audition Academy is a twenty-five session workshop series providing 75 contact hours of expert education & guidance that was hand-crafted by parents, students and industry professionals who have been through the college application and audition year. Every workshop topic and instructor are carefully planned-out and strategically placed in the calendar so that students are prepared, well in advance, for their upcoming deadlines that approach throughout the year.
Classes run each Sunday evening (5-8pm), beginning June 29th and running until January.
Applications for 2026-2027 will open this spring, 2026.

Are you a student who's planning to audition for a college Musical Theatre, Film or Acting program? Or are you a parent that is new to the whole process and has no idea what your student is getting into? This class will equip parents/guardians and students with the knowledge they need to have a less stressful, more informed, successful college application and audition process.
